Just who the hell does CNN think they're kidding with this shit?

From the geniuses at CNN.
Some Hispanic Americans hope law deters illegal immigration

Phoenix, Arizona (CNN) -- Sue Schwartz says she's been called a racist so many times she doesn't mind the label anymore. If wanting immigrants to enter the country legally, like her great-grandparents from Mexico, and obey the laws of the land makes her racist, then so be it, she says firmly.

"I'm getting to the point I wear it with pride," says Schwartz, a lifelong Arizonan who has warily watched the growth of the illegal immigrant population in the state over the course of her life. About 500,000 unauthorized immigrants were believed to live in Arizona in 2008, and 11.9 million nationwide, up from 3.5 million nationwide in 1990, according to a Pew Hispanic Center report published in 2009.

This year, the tide is finally turning in her favor, she says, with the passage of SB 1070, aimed at cracking down on illegal immigration. The new law requires immigrants to carry their alien registration documents at all times and requires police to question people if there is reason to suspect they're in the United States illegally.
So as the title implies, I think the relevant question here, is just who the hell does CNN think they're kidding with this shit? With article after article after article repeatedly showing that the Latino community - both in Arizona, and nationwide - is quickly and understandably mobilizing against this racist travesty of law, which not only allows, but actually requires law enforcement officers to demand papers from ANYONE they even SUSPECT might be an illegal immigrant; I would like CNN to tell us why the fuck it is, exactly, that they felt the need to troll Arizona for someone who is, in all probability, one of the only people of Hispanic descent in the entire state who actually supports this race-baiting, hateful debacle, SB 1070. I mean who the fuck edited this pathetic, racist horse-shit? Did they dig up the corpse of Lou Dobbs's career and give him one last shot? Is Emanuella Grinberg, the woman apparently responsible for this fucking insult to the intelligence of everyone on any side of this issue, one of Dobbs's little toadie underlings?

I mean all across the country, we're seeing headlines like "Hispanic Community Mobilizing Massive Protests," "Boycotts of Arizona Already Underway," "Latinos Condemn Republican Legislature in Arizona . . . . " but the geniuses at CNN feel the need to gin up a couple people - the main character being a fourth-generation Mexican-American, by the way - and make it "news" that "Some Latinos Embrace Racist Law." Not only that, this so-called "news" has been their LEAD STORY FOR THE ENTIRE FUCKING DAY!

How fucking stupid do these assholes think we are? Couldn't they have at least been honest, and interviewed J.D. Hayworth - the fringe-right teabagger who's running for John McCain's Senate seat this year because finds McCain to be too liberal; or the execrable Russel Pearce - the proudly racist State Senator in Arizona who wrote this god-damned disaster - when they needed someone to speak up in favor of this piece of shit of a bill? Trying to pretend that "Some Hispanic Americans" support this complete garbage is just insulting to our collective intelligence . . . even to those who might support this racist horse-shit!

I mean thousands families all across Arizona are about to be broken up, because of this patently unjust notion that existing here in the so-called "Land of the Free" without signing the right paperwork makes your very being "illegal." And ANYONE of Hispanic descent in Arizona - which is a pretty large number of people, considering that Arizona's entire southern border is with Mexico - now has to fear incarceration if they don't happen to be carrying their BIRTH CERTIFICATE with them.

And it doesn't stop there. Have you been to Arizona? Do you know how much the sun shines down there?- in the desert? Well let me tell you something folks, I've had family in Tucson my entire life. They don't call it a desert because it's cloudy a lot. The sun shines every fucking day. Even a pure-blooded Norwegian could end up looking like a Jorge Martinez if they live down there long enough. The police, instead of going after real criminals, are being asked to stop and give inquisition to ANYONE they "think" might "look suspicious."

But here's CNN's take on it: "Hey! We found a few Hispanic-Americans who support this racist law! See? "Some Hispanics" are in favor deporting their own families!" No wonder CNN's ratings have been plummeting.

Hey dumbfucks at CNN, let me clue you in to a little reality here. The in-bred morons who want their news filtered through an extreme-right lens will get it from Fox. You will never out right-wing Fox News. It's no wonder your rating are in free fall. Fox's ratings are also dropping like the IQ of a glue-huffing teabagger on a five year binge, because people are just sick of that shit. And your attempts to mimic Fox news are not only despicable and immoral, it's just not going to work!

But hey, on the other hand, I guess CNN should be congratulated. Perhaps it IS newsworthy that they managed to find three Hispanic-Americans - however distantly-related to their Mexican ancestors - who actually supports this racist debacle. Maybe that IS something.
