FRI 4.16::B.U.R.N.'s 1st Annual Burlesque Bake Sale

Hi Everyone!

B.U.R.N. NFP, Downtown Dave, and Knock Knock Hot Spot are proud to present:

The First Annual Burlesque Bake Sale
Friday, April 16th - 7:30 PM - 11:00 PM
@ The Speakeasy Cabaret
in the basement of the Green Door Tavern
678 N. Orleans
$10 / $5 with a baked good

The Burlesque Bake Sale, an evening of classic cabaret entertainment, will feature the fabulous women of Knock Knock Hot Spot, Chicago's hippest burlesque outfit; the not-fully-dressed delights of Dollface, Soundwave Surfer, Laila Ruangpan, and others; as well as the ukulele of Weston Rose. Music and attempts at humor will be provided by Downtown Dave. All proceeds will go to the Bold Urban Renaissance Network, NFP, Chicago's official Burning Man not-for-profit-organization.

This show begins at 7:30 and goes straight through until 11:00, but don't worry! You can come early and leave early, or come late! Our doors will be open for the whole night! The Green Door Tavern has excellent pub grub and great specials, so make an evening of it! You'll be glad you did, and you'll be supporting B.U.R.N.'s continuing efforts to give out art grants, support our collective values, and build a cohesive Burning Man Chicago!

Anyone in our community is beyond welcome to be a part of this event. If you'd think you'd like to perform, contact Downtown Dave at If you want to bring a baked good for sale, contact our Bake Sale Co-ordinator Skorch at!

Hope to see you there!
