RepubliCon Implosion 101

Oh my god.

Palin's 'going rogue,' McCain aide says (CNN)--With 10 days until Election Day, long-brewing tensions between GOP vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin and key aides to Sen. John McCain have become so intense, they are spilling out in public, sources say.

Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN that they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin "going rogue."

A Palin associate, however, said the candidate is simply trying to "bust free" of what she believes was a damaging and mismanaged roll-out. McCain sources say Palin has gone off-message several times, and they privately wonder whether the incidents were deliberate. They cited an instance in which she labeled robocalls -- recorded messages often used to attack a candidate's opponent -- "irritating" even as the campaign defended their use. Also, they pointed to her telling reporters she disagreed with the campaign's decision to pull out of Michigan.

A second McCain source says she appears to be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign. "She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone," said this McCain adviser. "She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else.
So that's what filtered out to the corporate disaster that usually is CNN.

Boy that Quaylin Pick is working out reeeeeal well for More-of-the-same McCain. Let's see . . . open bickering between McCain staff & Palin staff that has filtered through to the corporate media; consistent poll-deficits in every single swing state; a massively unpopular President whose policies you must adhere to in order to mollify your only small constituency, right wing fundamentalists . . . policies which alienate roughly 65% of the country.

Sounds like a plan for electoral success.

Obama needs Iowa, which is in the bag; and then either Virginia, which is close to in the bag; or New Mexico (which is in the bag) and Colorado, which is also close to in the bag. He can afford to lose every other Bush state . . . some of which he may well win (NC, OH, FL, MO, IN, GA, and finally NV - which is also close to in the bag.)

If Obama pulls even ONE of the biggies like NC, OH, FL, and MO - IT'S OVER. And he's currently ahead or tied in ALL OF THEM. It is going to take an earthquake, combined with a false flag terrorist attack, combined with lightning striking twice in the same place, combined with a tornado, and someone bowling a 300 game, for More-of-the-same McCain to win this thing.

[Knocking on wood saying] I don't think that's going to happen.

the McCain camp has been sending mixed signals since it's inception... Sarah Palin can't even keep up with McCain's endless wavering between "straight talker" and crooked politician

Yep - sometimes is hard to tell if they even want to win.

The biggest problem for the MCCain camp is that his team is being ran by his people and the Palin camp is a bunch of Bush's old people who really do want 4 more years and that is were all the infighting is going because Karl Rove is afraid that the chances of getting 4 more years of the same and more money for his people are about over...not to mention that early voting already shows record numbers..but I smell defeat for the GOP and I am going to use the L word...but I think there could be a "landslide" (knock on wood).
